Alberto works as Global Head Director of PPP/Concessions Business Development in Acciona Concessions, primarily focusing on the strategy in each of the countries and regions in which Acciona Concessions is present; Latam, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He oversees the development of new opportunities from the origination stage until bid submission as well as the relationship with governments, agencies, industrial and financial partners and other relevant stakeholders. In addition, he supervises the tender processes representing the company at the steering committee meetings. Acciona Concessions is the investment arm of the Acciona Group dedicated to transport and social infrastructure PPP with an overall portfolio of assets worldwide and regional-focused teams based in Canada & USA, Australia & NZ, LATAM and Europe. Prior to joining Acciona Concessions, he worked at Ahorro Corporación S.A. as Corporate Finance Director for 14 years, focusing on advisory services related to M&A transactions, Business Strategy and Project Financing activities. He also participated in the fund raising of AC Infrastructure Fund and led the advisory of several investment vehicles designed to invest minority stakes in listed and unlisted companies in Spain. He was also Member of the Business Committee of Grupo Ahorro Corporación representing the Investment Banking Area.
