Eduardo Gascón Alvarez is co-founder and CTO of Forma Systems, an MIT spin-out developing design optimization software to reduce the cost and environmental impact of concrete construction. Eduardo is an architect (UPC, 2018) and holds a PhD in Building Technology from MIT (2025), where he led research on the multi-objective optimization of building components and taught new graduate-level courses on sustainable design. Prior to MIT, he spent four years as a structural designer at BBG, a structural engineering consultancy in Barcelona.
