Gonzalo Fernández Sánchez is Director of Infrastructure at EMT Madrid and Chair of the Sustainable Development Committee at UITP. A civil engineer and PhD, he combines senior leadership in urban mobility infrastructure with extensive work on sustainability, energy transition and the transformation of public transport systems. He is also an Associate Professor at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and Co-Lead of WIF’s Working Group on Urban Transformation, Mobility & Human-Centric Infrastructure.
