Gustavo Martínez is Commercial Director & Head of Digitalization and Documentation - Bidding and Contracting at Ferrovial Construction and a Board Member of Ferrovial Construction International BV. He is also President of European International Contractors (EIC) and Vice-President of the European Construction Industry Federation (FIEC).

Since joining Ferrovial Construction in 2001, he has held senior positions in international business development, commercial management and digitalisation. Throughout his career, he has contributed to the company’s expansion across the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, Poland and other markets in Europe, Latin America and Asia.

Gustavo has been actively involved in EIC for more than two decades, including as Vice-President from 2023 to 2025, before being elected President in April 2025. He also chairs EIC’s Working Group on Collaborative Delivery Models, promoting more collaborative, sustainable and efficient approaches to international infrastructure delivery.

He holds a degree in Business Administration and Management and a Master of Advanced Studies from Comillas Pontifical University (ICADE E-2), as well as executive management qualifications from IE Business School and ESADE.
