Thierry Déau is the founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Meridiam, an independent investor and asset manager specialising in the development, financing and long-term management of sustainable public infrastructure, which he launched in 2005. A graduate of the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, he began his career in Malaysia with GTM International and then joined France's Caisse des Dépôts, where he progressed within its engineering subsidiary Egis Projects to become CEO in 2001. He chairs the FAST-Infra Group and the Établissement public du Palais de la Porte Dorée, founded the Africa Infrastructure Fellowship Program, is a founding member of the WEF's Sustainable Development Investment Partnership, and presides over the Archery Foundation.
