Tomás Serebrisky is Manager of the Infrastructure and Energy Sector at the Inter-American Development Bank, a position he has held since March 2024. An Argentine economist with more than 20 years in development, he specialises in infrastructure, public-private partnerships, regulation and antitrust. He has led or worked on investment and policy projects in transport, energy, water and private sector development across Latin America and the Caribbean. He joined the IDB in 2012 as Principal Economic Advisor for the sector and co-edited the IDB's 2020 flagship report 'From Structures to Services'. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago.
